04Before you write
A few things that help us help you faster:
- Privacy requests: write from the email address you signed up with. If you use a different one, we’ll send a confirmation link to your signup address to make sure the request really comes from you. We’ll never ask for ID documents.
- Accessibility issues: tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and, if you know, the browser and assistive technology you use. If you don’t know all of that, write anyway.
- Joining the list by email: if the signup form doesn’t work for you, email support@presstronic.com with “sign me up” and tell us whether you also want playtest invitations. We’ll add you by hand with the same consent choices.
- Please don’t send passwords, payment details, or anything sensitive by email. We’ll never ask for them.
05Reporting a security vulnerability
We welcome reports from security researchers. If you believe you’ve found a vulnerability in presstronic.academy:
- email support@presstronic.com with enough detail for us to reproduce it;
- give us a reasonable amount of time to fix it before you disclose it publicly. We suggest 90 days;
- don’t access, change, or delete data that isn’t yours, and stop as soon as you’ve confirmed the issue;
- don’t run denial-of-service tests, spam, or social-engineering attacks against us or our providers.
If you follow these guidelines in good faith, we won’t take legal action against you, and we’ll credit you publicly if you’d like. We don’t currently offer paid bug bounties. Our machine-readable security contact is published at /.well-known/security.txt.
06If we get it wrong
We’d rather hear from you first, but you never have to come to us before going to a regulator. Depending on where you live and what the issue is:
- Data protection: the ICO (UK), your national data protection authority (EU and EEA), the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Commission d’accès à l’information (Québec), or the California Privacy Protection Agency;
- Accessibility: see the list in our Accessibility Statement;
- Unwanted email: the US Federal Trade Commission (reportfraud.ftc.gov) or Canada’s Spam Reporting Centre (fightspam.gc.ca).
